 For a Pap smear

• Avoid vaginal medications, douching, and intercourse for 24–48 hours before the test.
• Try to avoid heavy bleeding days if possible (light spotting is usually okay).
• Bring your medication list and any prior results if you have them.
   

For a mammogram (we coordinate your appointment)

• On the day of your mammogram, don’t use deodorant, powders, or lotions on the chest/armpits.
• If you have previous mammogram images, bring them or tell us where they were done.
• Wear a two-piece outfit for easy changing.
   

For STI testing

• If a urine test is needed, try not to urinate for ~1 hour before your visit.
• Tell us about any recent antibiotics.
   

For fasting labs (if ordered)

• Don’t eat for 8–12 hours (water is fine; take essential meds unless we advise otherwise).

• Pap smear: lab results typically within days.
• STI tests: rapid screens same day; confirmatory lab tests 1–3 days (varies).
• Mammogram: timing depends on the imaging center; we’ll communicate results and next steps.
• Results are shared by patient portal or WhatsApp (with your consent), always with a short explanation

• We provide itemized invoices and clinician notes for insurance claims.
